Information Session Held at AISI College Marking World Social Work Day
An information session was held at AISI College to mark World Social Work Day.
Representatives of the Agency for State Care and Assistance for (Statutory) Victims of Human Trafficking, Victims and Survivors met with vocational students and teachers, discussing achievements in social work and the range of available social services.
The session aimed to support the promotion of family values, strengthen assistance for families with children, and contribute to the improvement of demographic conditions. It also focused on encouraging responsible parenting and fostering a positive social environment.
World Social Work Day has been celebrated annually in various countries since 1983. In Georgia, social work has been introduced since 2000.
